About Me

I started my career as the sole reporter for a twice-weekly community newspaper, which was a crash course in everything from photography to editing to advertising. Today, I write everything from longform and investigative journalism to "About Us" pages for websites and advertorials for small businesses.

I've written content for clients from my home state of Oklahoma all the way to Las Vegas and beyond. This includes:
  • Ebay
  • Walmart
  • Oklahoma Museums Association
  • Duncan Industrial Solutions
  • Dark Highway Films
  • Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits
  • Alpha Vein Clinic
  • Beauty Universe
  • Graceland University
  • Asian World of Martial Arts

My work has been recognized by the Oklahoma Press Association and the Oklahoma chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, but the honor I'm most proud of is winning a fierce lipsync battle in the third grade. (I practiced Kim Wilde's "Keep Me Hangin' On" for weeks.)
